What screw sizes can the JS-SC5331-VC handle?
Standard range is M1.0 to M4.0 with screw total length up to 15 mm. M5 is available on custom build. M6 requires an oversized Zedda feeder (we configure this based on your RFQ). For screws over 16 mm total length, oversized feeder is also needed.
Can I add MES data traceability later?
Yes. The SC5331-VC ships with JUSHI in-house microcontroller by default (local operation, no data I/O). MES integration is available as a factory option at build time, or as a retrofit later. Contact us with your MES system (SAP / Siemens / custom) for integration scoping.
Servo driver or brushless u2014 which do I choose?
Most customers choose servo (PUGE) u2014 on-screen digital torque adjustment + torque compensation + MES-ready data. Brushless (DIGE) uses a mechanical dial on the driver body u2014 simpler to verify torque with an external tester, lower initial cost, but no torque compensation. Both are equally reliable. Pick servo if you need data logging or precise torque profiles; brushless for cost-conscious lines.
What is the lead time for a standard SC5331-VC?
4-6 weeks from order confirmation for a standard build. Custom configurations (oversized feeder, MES integration, specific electric driver, non-standard travel) add 1-3 weeks depending on complexity. We confirm exact lead time with your RFQ engineering review.
Does the dual-station design really double throughput?
Not quite double u2014 because the electric driver is single-head, not dual. But it removes operator wait time: while the machine locks screws on station A, the operator unloads / reloads station B. Net throughput gain is typically 40-60% vs a single-station machine, depending on part complexity and screws per unit.
Can it handle multiple screw types on the same product?
Yes u2014 the controller stores 100 product parameter profiles. For multi-screw-type assemblies (e.g. M2 on the back cover and M3 on the frame), you can switch profiles between cycles, or configure a second feeder line on a customized build. Discuss specific multi-type workflows in your RFQ.
What's the warranty?
Standard is 12 months on the machine (excluding wear items like screwdriver bits and feeder rails). Servo electric drivers carry separate manufacturer warranty (PUGE / Jiemeikang). Extended warranty and spare-parts bundles available on request.
Can I see it run with my actual screws and parts before buying?
Yes u2014 we do feasibility testing at our Dongguan facility. Send us your screws and a sample product (or drawings), and we run a recorded demo. For major programs, on-site visits to our factory are welcomed. For international customers, remote video demo is also standard.
