Challenge: A premium personal care brand manufacturing facial cleansing devices was rejecting a significant portion of finished units due to cosmetic damage caused during screw fastening. Magnetic screw pickup was leaving marks on the pearl-white housing, and inconsistent manual torque was causing stress whitening around screw bosses.
Solution: JUSHI deployed JS-ZMDZ-SF Desktop machines with vacuum suction feeding across the assembly line. Servo torque profiles were calibrated specifically for the ABS+PC housing material to eliminate stress whitening. Multiple product colorways were programmed for instant changeover.
Result: Cosmetic defect rate dropped dramatically. Screw fastening throughput increased substantially. Product changeover between colorways now takes seconds instead of the previous lengthy changeover. The brand reported virtually no customer complaints about loose components in the months following deployment.
